30th October 2007, Nationwide General Strike

The National Convention of Central and State Govt Employees, Teachers and State Public Sector Employees held in Delhi on 13th Augutst, 2007 have, after thread bare discussion, decided to organise nationwide strike on 30th October, 2007 demanding implementation of twelve point charter of demands including Setting up of Judicial Committee for wage revision of Gramin Dak Sevaks of Postal Department, Scrapping of PFRDA Bill, Trade Union rights including the right to strike to all Government Employees etc.,
